WE all want more for less just now, so how about eight plays for the price of one?
Michael Frayn’s comedy Alarms and Excursions is at MK Theatre from Monday and gives you plenty for your cashola – 24 characters will pop up over the course of the delivery, played by a cast of only four.
Four friends sit down for a quiet evening together which is ruined by bells, buzzers, and a high tech corkscrew, and a German tourist spends his holiday in A&E thanks to an ever changing answer phone and an inflight announcement ends with more than a seatbelt coming undone.
A good cast execute this piece too, with Robert Dawes, Belinda Lang, Aden Gillett and Serena Evans at the fore.
The collection of technological terrors is in town for six days.
Tickets range from £10 to £27 and you can book yours by calling 0844 871 7652.
