GLOOMY January might be done and dusted, but let’s face it, aside from Valentine’s Day, February isn’t exactly blooming fantastic, either.

Thankfully, the Comedy Club is on hand again this evening to raise a laugh.

This week, the Manhattan Suite in City Limits has booked MC Harvey Oliver (he was in Only Fools and Horses, you know) who will introduce Anil Desai (right) and headliner Colin Cole.

Colin is one of the biggest performers from Down Under, and we mean that quite literally – he comes in at 6’7”.

‘One of the most exciting performers to come out of Australia since Skippy,’ reckon The New York Times.

See what you think from 7.30pm.

Tickets are £13, falling to £11 for members and it’s over 18s only.

Call for ticket bookings on MK 295200.

>On Sunday night, That Time of the Month returns to The Cannon in Newport Pagnell.

This time around, Chris Martin, left, (nope, not the voicebox behind I Will Fix You, crikey, Mr Gwyneth Paltrow has enough on his plate without breaking into stand-up, don’t you think?) will take centre stage mixing intelligent humour with downright immature moments.

Tickets are a bargain-licious £2 on the door and TTOTM really does get tomorrow’s stars, today – Sarah Millican was among last years’ visitors.

Hands up who saw her cutting it with King of Bling P Diddy on the Graham Norton’s sofa a couple of weeks back?!
