This event, which celebrates the joy of communal singing, has gone from strength to strength since the dark days of Covid, and it's bigger than ever this year, showcasing a total of 18 choirs, covering a range of genres, techniques and musical styles, from classical to pop, folk, soul and gospel, all wrapped up in the soul-soothing sound of the human voice.

The singers come from Milton Keynes, London and the South of England, and actually from all over the country, as they include as special guests The Big Yellow Choir, who were given the golden buzzer by Simon Cowell on Britain’s Got Talent.

There will also be an appearance by another surprise celebrity guest, but you will have to be there to find out who!

Milton Keynes Community Choir itself has represented the city on many occasions, including for the Rugby World Cup, the Women’s Euros and the celebration of Milton Keynes’ city status. They continue to support public events, such as Remembrance Day and the MK Can launch as well as raising funds for charities.  Their choir director and the choirs event’s organiser is the extraordinary Craig McLeish, who also works with tens of thousands of children around the country every year running Young Voices.

The choirs festival is a wonderful family event, and what's more, it has free entry, free parking, food and drink vendors and bathroom facilities.

So, if you like pop, soul, gospel, classical or folk music, with food and refreshments on the side, come and help to bring the joy to Summer 2026 at the choirs' festival!

The Milton Keynes Community Choir’s Summer Festival will take place on 13th June 2026 at the Amphitheatre in Campbell Park, Milton Keynes from 12pm-7.45pm.
