Olney company behind major prize campaigns marks 15 years
An Olney-based business behind some of the UK’s biggest prize campaigns is celebrating 15 years of success after delivering more than 100,000 prize experiences worldwide, raising tens of thousands of pounds for local charities, and growing its team despite a challenging climate for UK businesses.
Founded by husband-and-wife duo, Sophie and Michael Chambers, Cloud Nine Incentives has grown from a small family-run venture into an international prize, incentives and travel agency working with major global brands including Nestlé, Mondelēz International, Heineken, Mastercard and ASICS.
The business specialises in travel incentives, prize fulfilment and promotional campaigns, creating memorable experiences for customers and employees across the UK and Europe.
The company’s 18-strong team is made up of local talent from Milton Keynes, Northampton, Olney and surrounding villages. Reflecting its continued growth, Cloud Nine has recently welcomed three new team members and is now recruiting for two additional roles: a Business Development Manager and an Account Manager. The positions offer the opportunity to work with internationally recognised brands, alongside travel opportunities and long-term career development.
Cloud Nine has a proud history of supporting charitable and community causes, having raised thousands of pounds for local charity Willen Hospice. In its 15th anniversary year, the business is also supporting national breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel!, with the team committed to raising further funds through events and challenges, including a team sky-dive this summer.
Alongside its charity work, Cloud Nine continues to invest in grassroots sport and local talent, having been a long-term sponsor of Olney’s current Under-15 football team, the Falcons, supporting opportunities for young people within the local community.
To celebrate the milestone birthday, employees have received enhanced benefits including travel vouchers, an additional day of annual leave and a celebratory team trip to Madrid.
Co-founder Michael Chambers said: “Reaching 15 years as an independent business is a huge milestone for us. Over that time, we’ve delivered unforgettable experiences to more than 100,000 winners, helped shape some of the biggest promotional campaigns seen on TV, on-pack and in supermarkets, and won many awards along the
way.
“Becoming an industry leader while staying true to our family-business values is something we’re incredibly proud of. But just as important is the positive impact we’ve been able to make through fundraising, supporting charities that mean a lot to us locally, and investing in our community..”
