Olney Workspace launch event coffee sales to support Ailsa’s Aim
Residents and visitors to Olney will be able to support a local charity with their coffee when Olney Workspace launches its weekend coffee and pastries offering on Saturday 31 October 2026.

Ailsa’s Aim will receive a donation from coffee sales at the launch event, with coffee roasted by Buckinghamshire-based Doe & Fawn.
The fundraising arrangement applies to launch event coffee sales only. Normal coffee sales after the event will not include a charitable donation. Mark and Louise, the owners of Olney Workspace, hope to hold further special fundraising promotions throughout the year.

The weekend offering at the High Street venue will be coffee and pastries only. Workspace facilities will not be available at weekends.
Based at 9 High Street, Olney Workspace provides flexible space during the working week for freelancers, remote workers and business owners, including hot desks, dedicated desks, a meeting room and a private phone booth.
At weekends, the focus will turn to welcoming the community for coffee and pastries. The launch event will celebrate this new offering while raising funds for a charity based in the town.
Mark and Louise want their business to play a positive role in Olney, supporting local people and creating opportunities to connect, as well as giving back through charitable fundraising.

Ailsa’s Aim provides free practical support for cancer patients and families with babies in neonatal care. Operating from its Olney hub, the charity supplies care packs containing everyday essentials and thoughtful comforts to help people through hospital stays and treatment.
Its support includes packs for adults, teenagers and children, alongside neonatal and sibling packs. The charity also provides RADAR keys, wellbeing activities and respite breaks in its accessible caravan in Hunstanton, recognising the impact that illness and hospital care can have on the whole family.
By the end of September 2026, Ailsa’s Aim had distributed 16,777 packs that year, working towards a target of 20,000. Its small team is supported by dedicated volunteers who pack, sort and distribute supplies to hospitals and families.
Sara Whatley, CEO and Co-Founder of Ailsa’s Aim, and Ailsa’s mummy, said: “We’re so grateful to Mark and Louise for choosing to support Ailsa’s Aim through their launch event. Having the backing of businesses here in Olney means so much to us.

“We’re a small charity supporting people through incredibly difficult times, and support like this helps us continue providing practical care and kindness to cancer patients and families with babies in neonatal care.
“It’s a lovely way for people to get involved. Come along on Saturday 31 October, enjoy a coffee and a pastry, and know that coffee sales at the launch event will help our work too. We love that Mark and Louise want to support the community around them, and we’re delighted to be part of their launch.”
The event brings together a local venue, a Buckinghamshire coffee roaster and an Olney-based charity, giving customers an opportunity to contribute while celebrating a new addition to the town’s weekend offering.
Residents and visitors are invited to the launch at Olney Workspace, 9 High Street, Olney, on Saturday 31 October 2026. Coffee and pastries will continue to be available at weekends afterwards, with any future charity fundraising specials announced separately.
