Video shows huge plume of smoke after another fire in Milton Keynes as garages engulfed in flames

Firefighters from Broughton, West Ashland and Newport Pagnell were called just after 6pm on Monday, with the thick smoke visible from across a wide area, drawing concern from local residents.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus battled the flames using multiple hose jets, working quickly to bring the fire under control.

Specialist equipment, including a thermal imaging camera and ladder, was deployed as teams fought to contain the blaze.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident produced a “large amount of smoke,” highlighting the intensity of the fire.

The fire comes after two major blazes in Milton Keynes over the weekend.

A fire erupted at St. Martin’s church in Fenny Stratford, in the early hours of Saturday, April 25. The vicar of the church said that the fire had been officially reported as undetermined, but insisted there was nothing inside the church that could have set it alight.

That was followed by a huge blaze just down the road at Pink Punters nightclub the following evening.

In an update on Tuesday, police said they are keeping an open mind on whether the fires at Pink Punters and the nearby church are connected.
