Jamie Kemble is a freelance football writer with National World's central team. He provides content across the vast majority of National World's titles, initially joining the company in early 2022. Jamie completed a journalism degree in his home country, Wales, with the University of South Wales. He then created and ran a Welsh sports website and published his hardback book, 'Bluebird Heaven', which is based on Cardiff City's chaotic decade between 2008 and 2018. Shortly after, Jamie began his career professionally in Leicester with Reach PLC and the Leicester Mercury, later going on to obtain his senior journalism qualification. After around three years with Reach, working across the Midlands sports team, central team and then London, Jamie moved to Spain, and he is now based on the East coast, in the city of Valencia. He has worked for a number of high-profile websites during his career so far, including WhoScored, Football.London, Yorkshire Evening Post and the Manchester Evening News, while also contributing to the media output of football clubs and associations along the way, including SD Eibar and the Football Association of Wales. He has also covered a variety of football leagues, including the Premier League, Championship, La Liga, Segunda Division and Major League Soccer. Jamie is a life-long football fan, and he also has a passion for American football and music. In his day-to-day job, Jamie writes content for a number of titles on National World's growing network, covering everything football, from transfers to pundits, player ratings to fan galleries. While he also has experience covering other sports, Jamie's passion is covering football and bringing news to the sport's most important people - the fans. While he is based in Spain, you will also see him on some of the National World network's videos, offering football expertise and a thick Valleys accent.
