As intu battles against insolvency, another of its household name stores has gone into administration.

The UK arm of Victoria's Secret has appointed administrators who will attempt to find a buyer for the chain,

The fashion and trendy underwear specialist, which has a shop at intu MK, employs more than 800 nationally.

All 25 of its shops in the UK have been shut since the virus lockdown started in March but had been suffering finanical problems even before then.

Bosses blames changing consumer tastes and weakened spending.

Administrator Deloitte is now to find a buyer for the chain, saying it is "yet another blow to the UK High Street" during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile the future of intu itself in MK is uncertain as the shopping giants battle against insolvency.
