Milton Keynes school hit by Covid-19 outbreak

Shenley Brook End School sent out an email to parents this morning (Tuesday, November 17) at around 10.20am updating them on the situation.

The email reads: "We have a small group of students across a range of year groups whose families have been contacted as they need to self-isolate."

The email goes on to say the school is still open for those who remain well.

Two other positive cases have been reported at the school since the start of the second lockdown. One was reported on Monday, November 9, one on Wednesday, November 11, and another regarding a Year 11 student on November 12.

The government's guidance around Covid-19 in schools says that an outbreak can be defined if a school has 'two or more confirmed cases within 14 days'.
