96% of over 60s in Milton Keynes have been vaccinated against Covid

The latest data released by NHS England shows almost all Milton Keynes residents over 60 have received a Coronavirus jab.

Almost 17,000 doses were administered over the past seven days, bringing the borough's cumulative number of vaccines administered to 112,218 doses.

NHS England figures released today (March 25) reveals 94.2% of 65-69 year-olds have now received first doses against Covid and 90.9% 60-64s received first vaccinations.

Last week's figures showed 100% of the over 70 age group had been jabbed once. First doses have been administered to 67.8% of 55-59s and 63.2% of 50-54 year-olds.

The data released today is accurate up to March 21.

Government figures show across the UK 28,653,523 first doses have been administered and 2,532,839 second jabs have been conducted.
