Another school in Milton Keynes has been hit by an outbreak of Covid-19

Denbigh School, in Shenley Church End, has had one Year 8 student and two members of staff recently test positive for the virus - specific dates of when they became positive are unknown, but students only returned to school last week after the October half-term.

Because of the confirmed cases, 88 people from the school have been forced to self-isolate, according to Milton Keynes Council.

The cases have come during the second national lockdown, which started on November 5 and will end on December 2, where many businesses have had to shut to prevent the spread of the virus.

The government's guidance around Covid-19 in schools says that an outbreak can be defined if a school has 'two or more confirmed cases within 14 days'.
