The number of new cases reported today (February 26) dropped significantly from yesterday's outbreak.

After new Covid cases announced in Milton Keynes almost doubled yesterday (February 25), today's confirmed cases is more typical of how the city has been coping.

Today, 48 new Covid cases were revealed, a significant drop from the 76 reported yesterday. One more death linked to the virus was also confirmed, meaning 447 people in Milton Keynes have died after testing positive.

The weekly number of new cases confirmed between february 20 to 26 is up 2.6% from the previous seven days. Over the most recent week 353 new cases of Covid have been reported.

Nationally, 8,523 new people tested positive and 345 deaths were recorded.
