Milton Keynes Hospital water supply restored after builders drilled through mains water pipes

Milton Keynes University Hospital confirmed their mains have been repaired following a drilling accident yesterday (February 23).

Yesterday, Milton Keynes Hospital were using reserve tanks to ensure that hospital staff still had access to water.

These tanks were in use at wards and clinical areas to limit the impact this internal incident had on the hospital's services.

This was due to a drilling incident that damaged the water mains pipe which led to a loss of water within the hospital.

A spokesperson for Milton Keynes University Hospital released the following statement yesterday evening, saying: "Hospital services were unaffected throughout the loss of supply thanks to reserve tanks. Please continue to use our services and attend appointments as normal."
