Police tackle rise in criminality and nuisance behaviour in one area of Milton Keynes

Police have launched a special operation to stop anti-social and suspected criminal behaviour in the north of the city.

The move follows an increase in reports from residents about the use of e-scooters, electric bikes and other motorised bikes linked to nuisance behaviour and suspected crimes, particularly in the areas of Greenleys, Wolverton and Stacey Bushes.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “We would like to thank members of the public who have taken the time to report their concerns. The information you provide plays a vital role in helping us identify issues, target offenders and take positive action. When concerns are raised, we will act robustly to address criminality and anti-social behaviour.”

They added: “We recognise the significant impact that this type of behaviour can have on local communities and are committed to making our neighbourhoods safer for everyone.

“Please continue to report incidents to us. Your information helps us build a clearer picture of what's happening in your area and enables us to take effective action.

“Together, we can help tackle anti-social behaviour and keep our communities safe.”
