Third suspected car arson in Milton Keynes in under a week

A car was set alight on Marsh Drive in Great Linford last night (March 1) at around 11:20pm.

The authorities believe the fire was started deliberately, meaning it is the third incident of its kind since Friday February 26.

A car fire destroyed a vehicle in Juniper Gardens last Friday, whilst Bucks Fire and Rescue service extinguished a flaming van in Tongwell on Saturday February 27.

Monday's incident was dealt with by firefighters from Newport Pagnell who dealt with the fire using a hose reel and breathing apparatus.

Once again a spokesperson from the Bucks Fire and Rescue Serviced stated: "The fire is believed to have been started deliberately."
