Residents advised to keep windows shut as 30 firefighters tackle serious house blaze in Milton Keynes
Eight fire engines and 30 firefighters are currently tackling a serious house fire on a city estate.
And they have advised residents in the area to keep their windows and doors firmly shut due to the risk of inhaling smoke.

The fire broke out in a property on Plumstead Avenue, Bradwell Common, just before midday today (Tuesday July 28).
Eight crews from Bucks Fire and Rescue are at the scene, along with three officers. Police are also in attendance.
The firefighters are using four sets of breathing apparatus, two main jets, a short extension ladder, a thermal imaging camera, small gear and a turntable ladder vehicle.
A BFRS spokesperson said: “Our advice to local residents is to keep windows and doors closed while smoke is generated by the fire. Please avoid the area, as road closures remain in place while crews continue to work at the scene. Thank you for your patience.”
