The local writer, who uses the pseudonym Max Robinson, has continued to keep a watchful eye on the light pollution and electrical waste in Central Milton Keynes by picturing numerous shops which were illuminated overnight on Tuesday, September 22 at 4am.
Max said: "In a recent television programme, Sir David Attenborough was speaking about the climate crisis destroying our planet. Children gave Sir David questions to answer, one four-year-old asked, 'what is the easiest way to halt global warming?'

"Attenborough replied saying, 'do not waste anything', before going on to say, 'particularly do not waste electricity'."
The author previously wrote into this newspaper in mid-September questioning whether Milton Keynes council is doing all it can to be a greener authority.
'Milton Keynes claiming it wants to be the greenest authority in the world is a lie'Max said: "Following on from MK Citizen giving support to my campaign against Central Milton Keynes and its huge carbon footprint - with its unnecessary light blazing all night, every night into the sky - I went to see if there had been any change.
"I found that a significant number of shops had taken heed of The Citizen’s article and switched off their external lighting.

"However, The Centre MK’s management totally ignored the Citizen article. The Xscape building continues to put two fingers up to global warming with the most hideous lighting excess of any building within Central Milton Keynes.
"When the Centre MK opened, it advertised itself as 'shopping as it should be'. Now in the twenty-first century, this is 'shopping as it never should be'.
"Xscape was, of course, the first building to trash The Milton Keynes Development Corporation’s foundation stone that no building shall be taller than the surrounding trees."
Max also said he has filed a formal complaint with the BBC due to its Look East news channel picturing the Xscape building in its opening titles, which 'is condoning the damage the building causes'.
He said: "Climate Cowboys as detailed here must be stopped at all costs."
The Centre:MK and Xscape have been contacted for comment.
