Flaming car destroyed in Milton Keynes

The vehicle was destroyed after catching fire on Saturday (March 6) afternoon.

A crew from West Ashland attended and used one hose reel, one set of breathing apparatus, a dry powder extinguisher and an environmental protection kit.

Despite the use of this equipment the vehicle was destroyed.

The incident was not reported as an arson attack, but three suspected arson attacks have been reported in Milton Keynes in the past two weeks.

A car was set alight on Marsh Drive in Great Linford on March 1.

A car fire destroyed a vehicle in Juniper Gardens last Friday, whilst Bucks Fire and Rescue service extinguished a flaming van in Tongwell on Saturday February 27.
