Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn to visit Milton Keynes

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has sold out a Milton Keynes venue where he is due to speak tomorrow afternoon.

Huge support for Mr Corbyn is expected after all 650 tickets were snapped up.

It’s thought his visit is to help rally support to hold MK’s Labour-controlled council.

But it could prove to be awkward for council leader, Pete Marland, after he proclaimed: ‘Jeremy Corbyn will lose us councillors and credibility’ while backing Andy Burnham for leader last year.

The meeting takes place at 2.15pm at The Ridgeway Centre, Featherstone Road, Wolverton Mill South, Milton Keynes, MK12 5TH.
