Motorcyclist left with permanent injuries after crash on A5

ONe person has been serious hurt in Ampthill crash.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist was left with life-changing injuries following a collision on the A5 on Saturday.

The motorcyclist, who is in his 40s, was driving along the A5 – which runs through Milton Keynes, Hockliffe, Towcester, Redbourn and Dunstable – at approximately 7am when he was involved in a collision with a Renault Clio near Caddington.

He was taken to hospital where he is currently in a critical condition.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire forensic collision investigations unit on 101.
