Cycling festival returns to Milton Keynes to raise vital funds for local children
A popular charity event that the whole family can enjoy is returning to Milton Keynes this summer.
Cyclists of all ages and abilities are being invited to take part in the Ride MK Cycling Festival on Sunday 14th June, a fun and inclusive community event raising money for local children in need.
Starting and finishing at Ride High Equestrian Centre in Loughton, the event offers a range of routes designed to suit everyone - from experienced cyclists to families and young riders. Participants can choose from: 100km road route (7:30am start), 50km road route (9:00am start), 25km traffic-free redway route (10:00am start) and 1.6km Ready Set Go children’s route (11:00am start).
Whether riding solo, as part of a team, or joining a guided group, Ride MK offers a flexible and welcoming experience for all. Discounts are available for groups, providing a great opportunity for friends, families and colleagues to take part together.

A fundraising target of £50 to £150 is suggested for each route, helping to support Ride High’s work with vulnerable and disadvantaged children. As an added bonus, anyone who reaches their fundraising target within one week will be included in a draw to win a £250 Trek voucher - with multiple entries awarded to those who exceed their target.
After completing the course, riders can celebrate their achievements in a lively festival atmosphere, complete with food, music and family-friendly activities. All participants will be awarded a medal, along with a well-earned ice cream or beer, and children will also take home a goody bag.
Helen Cook, Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Ride High, said: “Ride MK is such a special event because it truly is for everyone. Whether you’re taking on a personal challenge, riding with friends or bringing the family along, it’s a fantastic experience and every mile ridden helps us support local children to build confidence, resilience and brighter futures.”
Chloe Clayton, Marketing Assistant at Brioche Pasquier, said: ‘We are really excited to be sponsoring the ‘Ready Set Go’ route again this year at the Ride High Cycling Festival 2026. It’s a fantastic day, full of energy and shared achievement, and it’s great to see people of all ages and abilities taking part in an event that makes a real difference.
“We’re proud to play a small part in supporting Ride High and the vital work they do for vulnerable children in our community, and we look forward to cheering everyone on, on the day!’
You can apply online to take part before the deadline closes at midnight on Sunday, June 7. Limited on-the-day registration will be available for the 25km and 1.6km routes.
