The council is encouraging other workplaces to join in and says they can do so by changing exterior lights to gold or displaying a gold logo somewhere prominent.

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is celebrated each year in September and is championed each by Milton Keynes based charity The Henry Allen Trust.

The trust was created in 2014 by Mark and Dawn Allen, parents of Henry, to support children and their families going through childhood cancer.
