Milton Keynes pupils get creative to celebrate upcoming opening of new health centre

A new health centre in Milton Keynes has been working with local schools to give children the opportunity for their work to be displayed at the site to celebrate the opening.

Whitehouse Health Centre, operated by OneMedical Group, will open later this year, and the centre has been working with pupils from Whitehouse Primary School and Fairfields Primary School, who spent some of their final weeks of the Summer Term creating entries for the competition.

Children were encouraged to use their skills to create a submission inspired by their community and what it means to them.

The winning artwork will be selected by a panel of judges from OneMedical Group and the Milton Keynes CCG, and will be displayed within Whitehouse Health Centre when it opens later this year.Dr Will Dawson, chief executive of OneMedical Group said: “We believe that working with local primary schools offers pupils the chance to showcase their creativity and feel a sense of pride to have their wonderful artwork displayed in the new Whitehouse Health Centre.

"The quality of entries has been incredibly high, so we already have our work cut out for us to pick a winner!

“We chose the theme of community for this competition as we believe in serving every community we work in.

"Our vision is to improve lives and we look forward to welcoming the residents of Milton Keynes through our doors!”
