Mystery solved over unusually loud alarm sound heard in Milton Keynes

The mystery behind the unusually loud alarm following a power cut in Milton Keynes last week, has been solved.

A reader, from Shenley Brook End, contacted the Citizen after hearing the noise just after midnight on Wednesday, March 25, she wanted to know if any other residents had heard the noise.

A number of our readers contacted us and commented on the Facebook post that they had also heard the noise and offered a number of reasons of what it could be.

But, MK Dons Football Club has confirmed that the loud alarm was just the stadium alarm resetting after the power cut.
