New Covid cases rise to double figures in Milton Keynes today

Today 12 people have tested positive for the virus, compared to three yesterday and the previous day.

But MK's seven day infection rate is just 16.7 cases per 100,000 people. This is well below the national average of 22.1.

Currently seven patients are in MK hospital with Covid,

Nationally, there have been 2,613 new cases over the past 24 hours and 13 deaths recorded.

Throughout the UK, 34,934,171 have had their first vaccination and 16,291,719 have had the second dose.
