Sleeping Beauty cast gather to begin countdown to Milton Keynes Theatre pantomime

The cast of Sleeping Beauty have gathered to begin the countdown to this year’s pantomime at Milton Keynes Theatre.

X Factor-winning singer Alexandra Burke (Carabosse), TV presenter and current hand of the Sooty puppet Richard Cadell (Joey the Jester), cabaret artist Ceri Dupree (Queen Passionella), television personality and pantomime favourite Christopher Biggins (The Diva of Dreams) and musical theatre star Natalie Chua (Sleeping Beauty) were among the cast members in attendance.

Following their meet-up at Chicheley Hall, a Grade I listed hotel in Newport Pagnell, rehearsals will now begin in earnest for the pantomime, which runs from Saturday December 5 2026 through to Sunday January 10 2027.

Milton Keynes Theatre director Emma Sullivan said: “Panto press day is always an exciting time, as it's often the first opportunity for our cast to come together and gives everyone a sneak peek at what's in store for audiences this festive season.

“The cast certainly did not disappoint; from the spectacular costumes to the infectious energy on display, it's clear that Milton Keynes is in for a real treat with Sleeping Beauty this year."

Sleeping Beauty is being produced by pantomime production company Crossroads Pantomimes, the company behind last year’s Milton Keynes panto Goldilocks and the Three Bears which starred Brian Conley and his daughter Lucy.
