Tragic death of young Milton Keynes man helps save lives of others
The sad death of Tiger Duggan has brought new life to four other people, his family has revealed.
Tiger, 22, suffered a serious motorcycle crash while travelling in Thailand and was in a coma for 19 days before losing his battle to survive.
A previously unknown clause in his travel insurance meant the Thai medical bills, along with the cost of transferring him to a specialist hospital, could not be covered and a massive fundraising campaign was launched to help his parents, Kieron and Lisa.
This week the couple shared some news that has brought them smiles amid their grief.

They said Tiger was an organ donor and already there has been good news from the recipents
Keiron explained: “We received a wonderful update from the organ donation team today which has brought us some comfort in amongst our most troubled and devastating life changing circumstances.
“Tiger was donating his organs to help others. There has been four recipients in total... All four are doing very well. Two of them have left hospital, one is about to leave any day now and the other remains in ICU but is doing extremely well.”
The family cannot go into any more detail due to confidentiality. But they have vowed this will not be the end of Tiger’s story.
Kieron said: “In the future we are hoping to keep Tiger’s name alive. If we can make this happen, God knows – but it gives us hope for the future..
"Maybe we can make people aware that they have proper travel insurance.”
