‘Keep reporting incidents to us’: Police working to identify solutions to antisocial behaviour in part of Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police have urged the public to ‘keep reporting incidents to us’, as they continue working to identify solutions to antisocial behaviour which is impacting residents’ lives in an area of Milton Keynes.

Police say they are working to address concerns about “ongoing antisocial behaviour” in the Heelands and Swinden Court areas of the city and are working with the city council and other agencies to “identify long-term solutions.”

Police say that officers from the north neighbourhood team will continue to monitor the area and carry out patrols, following reports of drug-related activity, rough sleeping and what they call general antisocial behaviour.

Police said in a statement: “We would encourage residents to continue reporting incidents to us, as the information you provide helps us build an accurate picture of what is happening and allows us to take the appropriate action.

“Thank you to everyone who continues to report issues and engage with local officers.

“By working together with our partners and the community, we can help make Heelands a safer place for everyone.”

Non-emergency incidents can be reported via the 101 number, with police saying the public should ask call handlers to pass the information to the north neighbourhood team.

If there is a crime in progress or a risk to life or property the public should call 999.
