Volkswagen to reveal new electric car at Milton Keynes roadshow
The all-new and all-electric Volkswagen ID. Polo is coming to Milton Keynes this autumn, during its national tour.
The roadshow is coming to Willen Lake on September 26 and 27, giving locals the chance to see the car in the metal before it officially lands in showrooms in November.
Product experts will be on hand from 9am to 5pm to show people around the cars. Places can be booked for dedicated 20-minute sessions, allowing visitors a closer look at the car’s exciting features and benefits.
The sporty ID. Polo GTI – the first all-electric Volkswagen GTII – will also be on display throughout the roadshow, along with the ID. Cross – Volkswagen’s new all-electric compact SUV.

The ID. Polo is the first car to be built on Volkswagen's MEB+ platform, which introduces new battery technology, faster charging, improved efficiency and updated software. The car also benefits from lots of legroom for passengers and a generous 441-litre boot – that’s far larger than many of its rivals and 60 litres more than the current Volkswagen Golf.
The interior marks the beginning of a new blueprint for Volkswagen. It uses the brand’s new Pure Positive design language, with physical controls and easy-to-use digital displays. Older roadshow visitors may also appreciate the ID. Polo’s retro touches, which convert the car’s modern infotainment screen and digital cockpit to something reminiscent of the original Golf.
Depending on configuration, the ID. Polo offers a WLTP combined range of up to 281 miles, with direct current (DC) quick charging of 90 or 105 kW available as standard.
