The 22-year-old comes back after last season's loan spell

MK Dons have bolstered their goalkeeping unit by signing Andrew Fisher from Blackburn Rovers.

The 22-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Stadium MK, acting as backup for Lee Nicholls between the sticks.

Goalkeeper coach Dean Thornton told mkdons.com: “We’re delighted to bring Andrew back to the Club. He was a massive part in us doing well in second half of last season so we’re pleased to have him here on a permanent basis.

“We believe he’s one of the best goalkeepers in the country at his age. He has his whole future ahead of him and with our style, he suits down to the ground.

“He will be a big addition to the goalkeeping department, as well to Russ’ team.”
