MK Dons have kicked their final ball this season as clubs in League One voted to end the 2019/20 campaign.

The 23 clubs in the third tier voted to finish the season on a points-per-game basis, which sees Dons drop to 19th in the overall standings, dropping behind Rochdale on a 0.001 point difference.

The decision means Tranmere join Bolton and Southend in League Two next season, while Coventry and Rotherham are promoted to the Championship, with Wycombe, Oxford, Portsmouth and Fleetwood taking part in a play-off for the final spot in the second tier.

Earlier today, League Two also voted to curtail the campaign, with Swindon, Crewe and Plymouth promoted, and Cheltenman, Exeter, Colchester and Northampton in the play-offs.
