Dean Lewington takes charge of his first game in charge of MK Dons this afternoon. Stepping in with the club managerless, Lewington has made it clear he does not want the job long-term, but admitted he has enjoyed the week in charge as he prepared the side to take on Bolton in their opening game.
“It has been different, very challenging with a different set of problems to deal with,” he said. “In the main, it has been pretty good, the players have been excellent and have helped out. Everyone is doing a job and a half really, pulling their weight and doing a bit more.”
