MK Dons 0-2 Bolton Wanderers - Defeat again for Dons as they slip into the bottom three

Finally some good football from MK Dons, good touch from Grigg to bring it down, plays in Dennis who takes a touch but his effort is deflected out for a throw. They haven’t offered up a lot of note so far in this half, but are starting to look a little more promising

Dion Charles makes no mistakes from the spot as he smashes it home, straight down the middle. Cumming with no chance.

Devoy throws himself into a challenge which was really unnecessary, getting it horribly wrong and leaving the referee with no choice but to award a spot kick.

Cracking save from Cumming as he tips over George Thomason’s deflected effort over the bar. A brilliant reaction save.

Good break from Bolton, definitely offside mind you, but Charles is picked up in the centre of the box, Tucker doesn’t throw himself in front, he bides his time and gets in a key block on the shot.

What a terrible spell of football from both. Lee wastes Bolton’s corner because Iredale wasn’t looking, Devoy plays it straight out, then Lee plays one straight out for the visitors. Then Oyegoke hits the ball with his standing foot and misses the ball completely with the other.

A decent start from both sides, not a lot happening thus far really. MK Dons looking like they’re back in the right shoes in their passing game again, unlike at Exeter when they were playing in someone else’s.
