A popular player amongst the supporters, and a vital player on the field, Jamie Cumming believes he is improving week-on-week at MK Dons at the moment
Dons boss Liam Manning on Bolton Wanderers
Here’s what Liam Manning had to say ahead of tonight’s game
Liam ManningThey're a big club with big history and will provide us with a tough game. They've got a lot of quality in their side, they will be well-organised and we know it will be hard. With that volume of games we had, to suddenly have that period off, and especially after Exeter, we're really looking forward to.
What Ian Evatt had to say ahead of the game
Bolton manager Ian Evatt said this ahead of the game
Ian EvattThey’ve lost some really good personnel that would affect any team really. They have embedded a lot of new players and they’re getting used to the system and the manager’s ideas. But we think fundamentally it will be the same.
I think we’re a different animal now out of possession and hopefully we can go and show that tonight.
McEachran nearing a return?
He hasn’t kicked a ball since the 37 minute mark in the season opener against Cambridge, but Josh McEachran is nearing a return to full fitness once again.
The 29-year-old played in an 11v11 practice game over the weekend amongst his Dons team-mates, and came through it well according to Liam Manning.
“We played a practice game on Saturday and Josh took part - he has been in full training for a period now, he just needs building up. He is close, and in a good spot.
“Not only the composure and calmness he has, but ultimately his quality. He is so key in build-up for us and how we play. His understanding and quality are so good, so having him back will be a huge boost for the group.”
