It was a patchy performance from the home side as they slumped to a 3-1 loss at the hands of the Bees, despite taking the lead early on.
On a day which also saw Dons miss a penalty at Stadium MK, here’s how we rated the players.
9. Connor Lemonheigh-Evans - 6.5
Looked lively in his first start for more than three months but injury cut his time short | Jane Russell
10. Alex Gilbey - 5
Carried the effects of an early ankle knock with him throughout the afternoon, but never really got into the game | Jane Russell
11. Ben Wiles - 7
Looked like Dons' most capable offensive option, three times firing just wide of the mark | Jane Russell
12. Rushian Hepburn-Murphy - 4.5
His penalty miss was the headline, but disappointed on the whole. Tried to do too much on his own, and it was often the wrong option | Jane Russell
