Goals from Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Callum Paterson saw Paul Warne’s side come from a goal behind to claim their second win out of three to maintain their unbeaten start to the League Two season.
Here’s how we rated the players at Rodney Parade.
9. Alex Gilbey - 7
Should have bagged an equaliser but saw his effort cleared off the line. Saw more of the ball with some driving runs | Jane Russell
10. Aaron Nemane - 6
Didn't really back up his impressive sub appearances with a performance from the start | Jane Russell
11. Nathaniel Mendez-Laing - 7
Looked a handful in the first half especially, had joy on the left flank and dispatched his penalty with aplomb | Jane Russell
12. Callum Paterson - 7.5
Another lively outing. Worked himself into the ground, got the winner and finished the game in central midfield as dons defended late on | Jane Russell
