Top flight interest for former MK Dons defender

The defender could be en route to the Turkish Super Lig

Former MK Dons defender Zak Jules is reported to be in talks with Turkish side Eyüpspor after leaving Rotherham earlier this summer.

Jules spent two-and-a-half years at Stadium MK between 2021 and 2023, departing the club following the relegation to League Two, having also spent six months on loan at Fleetwood during his spell in Milton Keynes.

During his time at MK1, Jules made 73 appearanes, scoring three goals.

After his Stadium MK exit, when he joined Exeter City for an undisclosed fee, Jules signed for Rotherham on a free transfer in the summer of 2024, and spent two seasons with the Millers before departing earlier this summer.

According to Football Insider’s Pete O’Rourke, the former defender is now in talks with Turkish Super Lig side Eyüpspor about a move abroad.

The club, based in Istanbul, made their Super Lig debut two years ago and finished a stunning sixth place, but suffered something of a second-season syndrome last time out, staying up by just a point in 15th spot.
