Walsall 0-2 MK Dons - Holland scores late as Dons progress

Ooooh Walsall had two men over lurking behind Tucker, but the Dons defender does really well to get a touch on Bennett’s cross to put it behind for a corner - a corner which ends up in Ravizzoli’s hands.

They’re having a lot of the ball are Dons but there’s just not enough movement in the final third. Playing from the midfield forwards, they’re just getting stunted and forced to go backwards, much to O’Hora’s chagrin.

For all Dons’ good play until now, it is Walsall who should take the lead with Andy Williams rising highest to head the corner over the bar. Should do better.

A flurry of opportunities for Dons as Devoy bends a free-kick around the wall but Evans makes the save.

Burns then spots the keeper off his line from about 40 yards but the keeper nicely recovers.

Dawson Devoy is cut down in the penalty area, looked every day a spot kick to me but the ref is unmoved.

The ball is recycled and Henry Lawrence fires a fierce effort just over the bar.

It has been a decent start from the hosts who have played some decent football, keeping Dons, for the most part, in their own half.
