Russell Martin felt Dons' second half performance away at Rochdale was as good as they have been in a while.

After Matthew Lund cancelled out Matt O'Riley's fifth minute opener six minutes before the break, Dons emerged a wounded animal in the second half. Netting three goals in six minutes through Zak Jules, Scott Fraser and Cameron Jerome - who had one ruled out in first half stoppage time - Dons put Rochdale to the sword to secure a comfortable victory to take with them back to Milton Keynes.

"I think the second half was as good as we've been for a long time," said Martin. 2We started well, but we put pressure on ourselves and got sloppy.

"I went in at half time a bit frustrated, and I let the players know. I asked them questions at half time. They felt they were in charge of their own destiny on the pitch tonight and fortunately they showd a big mentality and a fantastic second half performance.

"The goals we scored were great and it could have been more. But the intensity they played at, the detail in the passing, didn't look disappointed when they lost it. Overall in the second half, we were outstanding.

"We've got a bit of momentum, we've picked up some good form, seven points from three games, we're in good form, we're growing as a team, we look strong and the team spirit is growing too. I'm really pleased."
