Sorinola is keen to strike up a good pairing with Laird

Matthew Sorinola hopes he and Manchester United loanee Ethan Laird can compliment each other while on the pitch for MK Dons.
Laird made his debut last Saturday in the FA Cup against Burnley, coming on as a second half substitute just a few minutes before Sorinola also came on at Turf Moor.

He said: "I’m excited to play alongside Ethan, he’s a good player and a good person. I can’t wait to be on the pitch with him.
"We need to develop an understanding on the pitch together and I’m sure that will come."
After missing two games after Christmas through illness, Sorinola played against both Burnley and Northampton - both very different performances from a personal perspective according to the 19-year-old. And after strong outings in both from Dons, Sorinola expects another tough challenge against Peterborough on Saturday.

Northampton, I thought it was more of a defensive performance from me, I didn’t attack much, I thought I was happy with my performance against Northampton though.
"Peterborough are always a tough game but we’ve done well in the last couple of games and building our momentum so hopefully we can keep building and come away with a good result."
