Dons fell two goals behind to goals from Marlon Jackson and a penalty from former Dons midfielder Mark Randall before Dean Bowditch emerged from the bench with a brace, either side of a Ben Tilney screamer. Here's what happened to the team which started in Wales that day.
9. Andrew Osei-Bonsu
After making his debut in the game, Osei-Bonsu also featured in the 4-1 defeat to Norwich City in the EFL Trophy but was released at the end of the campaign. After spells at Billericay and Wealdstone, joined Tilney in Larne before returning to England.
10. Kabongo Tshimanga
Came into the side with big expectations after an incredible scoring record at academy level. Struggled with that though, and was eventually released in 2017. Has found his scoring boots again though, plying his trade for Boreham Wood.
11. Brandon Thomas-Asante
A crowd favourite at Stadium MK until his departure last summer, BTA was a regular off the bench and in cups, but never got a league start to his name. He made up for it by signing for League Two Salford City, where he has six goals this season.
