Meijer sets a new record to climb to sixth in all-time rankings
Jack Meijer competing for the University of Wisconsin, opened his outdoor track season with a 1,500m personal best in Champaign, Illinois.
He knocked a huge 6.5secs off his PB with a time of 3.48.37. This puts him sixth in the all time rankings but with the club record from 2009 of 3.47.12 it is very close at the top.

Hide AdLaura Zialor and Leo Freeland opened their season at Birmingham. Laura was just 2cm off her club high jump record with 1.81m whilst Leo (M20) was just short of the 4.00min barrier for 1500m with a personal best of 4.00.15, clipping 2.6secs from his previous best.
MMK had two competitors at a windy open meeting in Dagenham. 100m Jamie White (M20) 11.22 (w+4.0) 150m Paul Canning (M50) 18.84 and 300m (42.42).
