Throwers in action for MMKAC in British Championships
Presswell and Curtis were competing in Manchester
Two MMKAC athletes competed in the British Championships held in Manchester.
Kayleigh Presswell threw the 4kg hammer 60.41m for fifth place, just over a metre down on her recently set club record of 61.65m. This latter performance is the fifth best in the UK this year.
Redford Curtis placed eighth in the men’s javelin with a best of 58.82m. He recently threw 65.05m which ranks him seventh in the UK this year.
