Grant Palmer to operate service 21 from 30th November 2026
Award winning, family owned bus operator Grant Palmer has announced that it will take over Service 21 from Monday 30th November 2026, introducing a new timetable, better connections and great value fares for passengers travelling between Lavendon, Olney and Central Milton Keynes.

The new service will provide an hourly frequency throughout the day, offering residents greater flexibility and more opportunities to travel for work, education, shopping and leisure. An enhanced Saturday timetable will also be introduced, making it easier for passengers to enjoy everything Milton Keynes and the surrounding area has to offer.
For commuters, selected peak-time journeys will extend to Milton Keynes Central Railway Station, providing convenient connections with onward rail services and improving access to employment opportunities further afield.
Passengers will also benefit from Grant Palmer's commitment to affordable travel, with all single fares costing £3 or less and weekly tickets available for just £25.
In a further boost for passengers in Olney, Grant Palmer tickets will be accepted on both Services 21 and 41, providing greater flexibility and more travel options across the operator's growing network.
Thomas Manship, Commercial Manager at Grant Palmer, said: "We're absolutely delighted to be introducing our own Service 21, bringing more buses, better connections and excellent value for money to the communities of Lavendon, Olney and Milton Keynes.
As an independent, family-owned bus operator, we're proud to be investing in local bus services and demonstrating our confidence in the future of public transport. We're looking forward to welcoming passengers aboard."
The new Service 21 will also benefit from Grant Palmer's investment in modern passenger technology. Customers will be able to track their bus in real time using the operator's free smartphone app, purchase mobile tickets and receive the latest service information, making journeys easier to plan.
The operator has confirmed that the new service will commence on Monday 30th November 2026, ensuring continuity of bus provision for existing passengers.
