MK tech firm launches new service and announces new appointment

A Milton Keynes-based HR and payroll technology firm has launched a new system selection service and announced a new appointment to lead it.

Tugela People, which supports organisations around the world with HR and payroll technology, has launched its HR System Selection service and appointed Jennifer Dunning as HR System Selection Consultant.

The service will help businesses navigate an increasingly crowded technology market, whether they are investing in an HR system for the first time, replacing an existing platform or bringing several systems together.

Working with HR teams and other key stakeholders, Tugela People will help organisations establish what they need from their technology before identifying suitable providers and assessing their solutions. The process considers everything from everyday HR processes and employee experience to integration with other systems, implementation requirements and ongoing costs.

Jennifer moves into the role after more than two years as an HRIS Technical Consultant in Tugela People’s managed services team, helping mid-sized organisations to optimise the value of their existing HR systems and processes.

Before joining the company, Jennifer spent more than eight years delivering HR technology solutions within a Fortune 500 organisation, partnering with HR operations, learning and development, payroll and talent acquisition teams.

Her experience of supporting organisations of different sizes will help clients understand how their requirements translate into practical technology choices.

Jennifer said: “Choosing a HR system can be a complex and sometimes overwhelming process. There is a huge amount of choice, and it is easy to get caught up in impressive features and lose sight of what your organisation actually needs.

“In this role, I’ll be helping organisations navigate that process, understand what they really need from their HR technology and make finding the right solution that little bit simpler. It is a significant investment of time and money, so getting that decision right matters.

The service follows a structured process of discovery, defining requirements, identifying suitable providers, evaluating shortlisted systems and making recommendations. Suppliers are assessed against agreed priorities and practical scenarios, helping organisations compare their options consistently.

The launch extends Tugela People’s existing services, allowing clients to access support from their initial system search right through to implementation, training and ongoing management.
