Figures from Saturday and Sunday (March 27-28), show continued progress in limiting the spread of the Coronavirus.

In the past 48 hours 27 new Coronavirus cases were confirmed in Milton Keynes.

Across the weekend no new Covid-linked deaths were recorded, meaning it has been ten days since someone died within 28 days of returning a positive test.

Currently the infection rate across Milton Keynes stands at 48.6 cases per 100,000 people. The city remains just below the national average which currently sits at 56.4 cases per 100,000.

In two days 8,577 more Coronavirus cases were confirmed nationally, 77 deaths were recorded.
