Young siblings from Milton Keynes form their own rap band to air their views on Covid-19

Three young siblings have formed their own band called Stencil Pencils and written a song about Covid-19.

The Wavendon youngsters started composing their own song as a homework project and it has led to a fully-fledged band, said their mum, Karla Herbert.

Johnson, aged 12, Kale, 10, and six-year-old Indiana have released the track, which is called Covid-19, on YouTube and are now busy writing their next masterpiece.

"It's as though I have a jamming session in my living room. Even their elder sister Amber, who is 18, is singing along," said Karla.

The children performed their song to neighbours on VE Day and it went down a storm, she said,

Some of the lyrics were inspired by Captain Tom Moore's incredible fundraising effort for the NHS. Others were prompted by Joe Wicks, the online keep fit guru.

"Kale has never liked PE but, as he says in his song, Joe Wicks has inspired him," said Karla.
