Trading Standards warn of new delivery scam in Milton Keynes

The authorities received a report that could cost an unsuspecting victim thousands.

A spokesperson for Milton Keynes Trading Standards revealed today (March 31), it received a report from a Milton Keynes resident of a fake delivery text.

The text message encouraged the potential victim to make an online payment of £2.50 for a missed delivery cost.

The spokesperson said: "If you respond to this scam you could end up losing £1000's, not £2.50. Forward scam texts to 7726."
