Milton Keynes has more green space per person than anywhere else in Britain

MK has come out tops in a new study to find British cities and town's with the most green space.

Holiday rentals companyHoliduused Open Street Maps database to obtain the surface area of each park in the UK’s main towns and cities.

Theythen calculated how many square metres each place had per 10 residents.

Milton Keynes, with an average of 15.42m² of parks per ten people, was the easy winner and has now been crowned the greenest city in Britain.

Willen Lake is MK's most popular park and even attracts more than 750,000 visitors annually.

Second was Warrington in Cheshire, where there is 6.36m² of parks per 10 inhabitants.
