More than 200 arrests across Milton Keynes as part of campaign to crackdown on crime and anti-social behaviour
More than 200 people have been arrested across Milton Keynes as part of a campaign to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the city.
The figures have been released following Thames Valley Police’s Safer Streets campaign, which saw an increased police presence across town and city centres throughout Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire between June 30 and September 30.
Police said that across Milton Keynes 246 arrests were made in safer streets areas, 50 fines were handed out, anti-social behaviour tools and powers were used 79 times, 71 e-scooters were seized, 223 engagement events including Have Your Say and Coffee with a Cop took place, and 1082 hotspot patrols were conducted.
Police have also released footage from bodyworn cameras showing some of their actions in Milton Keynes as part of the Safer Streets campaign.

It includes officers making an arrest 30 seconds after an assault incident outside Lloyds Court in the city.
Across the whole Thames Valley area, 1,330 arrests were made across 30 town and city centres as part of the Safer Streets campaign, for offences including shoplifting, robbery and theft from a person.
Reflecting on the campaign, Thames Valley Police’s assistant chief constable Christian Bunt said: "This summer, we've been doubling down on our constant efforts to tackle the crimes that blight our town and city centres, from anti-social behaviour to shoplifting.
“Every community deserves to feel safe, no matter where you live, so we have been building relationships, listening to local concerns and being where it matters most.
“Together with our partners, we are making town and city centres safer and make a lasting difference to communities by fighting crime and supporting victims.
“We are proud of the breadth of work we have achieved this summer while managing numerous significant operations and incidents, as well as business as usual.
“However, we are always seeking to improve so tell us what matters to you - your concerns drive our priorities for making town and city centres in the Thames Valley safer.”
From Monday December 1, Thames Valley Police is running its Winter of Action, through to January 31 2026, in a bid to address seasonal challenges in town and city centres.
